Two parcels in Jones Addition area of Morgantown’s 6th Ward on Hampton Avenue sell for one bid to the highest bidder. Monongalia County tax assessment parcel ID #’s 14-22-14 and 14-22-15. The combined area of the two parcels measures a reported 7,139 square feet (as determined by an 8/13/1996 survey).  The vacant lots are located directly across Hampton Avenue from the residential address 1165 Hampton Avenue.

Directions to the lots: From the roundabout on the Mileground, head north on US-119 and continue for approximately 4/10ths of a mile to a left on Hampton Avenue. Stay right to continue on Hampton Avenue. Subject property is approximately 1/10th of a mile ahead on right (directly across from residential address 1165 Hampton Avenue). REAL ESTATE TERMS: 10% Buyer’s Premium. 10% nonrefundable down payment made within 24 hours of the close of the auction with balance due at closing if high bid is $10,000 or greater. If high bid is less than $10,000, the full balance is due with 24 hours of the close of the auction. No financing contingencies will be entered into the contract. Any required inspections must be completed prior to bidding. Property is being sold as is, where is with no warranty written or implied.

Property will be sold free and clear of all liens. Seller is conveying surface rights only with no oil, gas, coal, mineral, or other subsurface interests conveyed unless otherwise noted. 30 days given to close.
