By bidding in the ONLINE AUCTION, each bidder agrees to these auction rules:

1. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. All items are “as is.” Allegheny County Airport Authority and Joe R Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service have attempted to describe

and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of the items.

No statement made orally, written or elsewhere, shall be deemed such a warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.

2. Any referenced value is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted.

3. There will be a 15% buyer’s premium on all purchases. Allegheny County Airport Authority and Joe R Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service will gladly accept cash, credit cards or check payable to Joe R Pyle Complete Auction and Realty Service. Payment, inclusive of any taxes and fees for items purchased must be made in full before items are picked up.

4. Following payments, you may pick up your purchases during the designated pick up period. You

must show your paid receipt for items to be picked up.

5. The purchaser must remove all items during the designated pick up period. Any items left beyond the agreed upon date of removal will be considered abandoned and forfeited by the buyer.

6. Vehicles will need to be towed from the auction site unless purchased by a dealer with appropriate plates.

7. Allegheny County Airport Authority reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.

8. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from Allegheny

Merge onto US-19 North toward Washington and follow for about 2 miles. Turn left onto W Chestnut Street/US-40 West and continue for 0.3 miles. The auction location at 1490 W Chestnut Street, Washington, PA 15301 will be on your right.

 

300 Cargo Rd. Coraopolis, PA 15108: Follow 376 Northwest to Hangar Road. Turn left at the traffic light. At next intersection turn left on to Cargo Road and follow to top of the hill.

Inspection of Items: Every item in this auction is available for bidder inspection prior to the auction ending (sometimes via in-person inspection and sometimes via virtual inspection using photos and provided descriptions). By bidding, each bidder acknowledges and agrees that they have had a full and fair opportunity to inspect the item or lots either in-person or virtually and is relying solely on the bidder's inspection, whether in person, through proxy, or based on the provided photographs and opinion in determining whether to bid, in determining the amount to bid and/or maximum bid, and in submitting the bid/max bid.

 

Titles:  Titles for any vehicles will be sent to buyer 10-15 business days following receipt of payment.  Please note:  any bank-held titles may take up to 30 business days for processing.

 

Payment: The credit card on file with your online account will be charged automatically at the conclusion of the auction. If your card on file is declined or cannot be processed for any reason, you will be contacted within 24 hours to arrange alternate payment. Your invoice must be paid in full before taking possession of the items. Payment at pickup can only be accepted if the card on file has first been charged and declined/rejected. For declined card, payments accepted at pickup may  be in the form of cashier’s check or money order, business checks or personal checks will be accepted only with positive ID and Auction Company approval.
